- 因為提到老虎，加上台灣這段時間石虎的話題，所以整理一下貓科動物的表格。

食肉目 貓科
- 美洲豹和豹有地域上的區隔：美洲豹出現在中、南美洲；豹出現在非洲和亞洲。
- 黑豹 Black panther：並非單一物種，是美洲豹或豹的黑化個體。
- 台灣的雲豹尚未被確立為亞種。近幾年台灣缺少雲豹的確切目擊紀錄，可能已經滅絕。
- 運動品牌Puma上的是美洲獅，而非美洲豹。
- 獵豹是陸上奔跑最快的動物。
- 日本的西表山貓因為集中於西表島，且受到政府的重視，雖然數量稀少(100隻左右)，但保育狀況良好。
- 相比之下，台灣石虎雖然數量較多(500隻左右)，但仍在邁向保育的路程上。

- It’s just a park, but the official name has exercise in it because it has a pull-up bar. Not many cats who want to exercise there, but it is still a popular place for resting.
